Welcome to Healthy Relationships Counseling Services
Research tells us that happily married people are healthier, emotionally and physically, than their single counterparts. They are wealthier, have stronger immune systems, and have more sex. They even live longer.
Dr. Bonnie’s Philosophy
Are you feeling hopeless about your relationship? Do you long for a deeper connection?
Do you want to feel loving toward your partner again?
Your healthy and loving relationship is worth fighting for. I want to help you to do that.
Relationships challenge us, but they are necessary for personal growth; emotional maturity is not possible in isolation.
Relationships struggle because of behavior, not chemistry, and you reap what you sow. Marriage should be a celebration of love, respect, and passion, while being a safe emotional home when life gets tough. Given the right guidance and tools, it can be.
My job is to help you discover your strengths and teach you how to use them to strengthen your marriage.
I have earned my Doctorate in Counseling Psychology and a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy.I am also a Master Certified Relational Life Therapist, Certified PAIRS therapist, and a Certified Group Psychotherapist.

Your therapist at HRCS…
- Will understand your struggle,
- Will notice and encourage you to use your strengths,
- Won’t waste your time, but will help you identify the source of the trouble,
- Will give you specific tools for solving problems,
- Won’t talk down to you or tell you what to do,
- Will seek your feedback about all aspects of your counseling,
- Will implement your feedback to make therapy what you want, or
- Will help you find a therapist who can help you.
How are we different?
At every session, we track our results. We want to know your therapy is effective, so we’ll ask you to complete two short questionnaires each time we meet.
Think of Feedback-Informed Treatment this way: It’s like when your MD takes your temperature and blood pressure. The ORS (Outcome Rating Scale) and the SRS (Session Rating Scale) are numeric indicators of how you’re doing. It’s our way of tracking and keeping in touch with your progress week to week.
